Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl Review
Nolan's anime movie?
And you thought it'due south something degenerate.
This is the review of both the anime series and film.
A naughty title serves as a disguise of a sci-fi yet sad look at ages of growing teens. As part of Erikson'southward stage of development, Identity vs Function defoliation is where teenagers struggle to find out who they are and accept their characteristics. The use of quantum physics and relativity principles were brilliant and reflected the common insecurities that many had to face. Although there is romcom and romance, both the series and motion picture required audition to figure out the phenomena and then think nearly the consequences of these insecurities. This led to the main theme of the serial, which is to recognize one's own emotions and insecurities and accept them in order to movement forward.
The movie did not follow this theme as much, but instead aimed for more drama and emotions using its complicated time travel plot. It took me quite a chip to figure out, but still information technology was an emotional ride with shocking twists that striking me similar a minivan.
The animation was just beautiful. The characters looked not bad, especially their eyes. Likewise, the drawings of the surroundings and the ocean scenes were breathtaking.
The interaction between characters were oddly hilarious. The way they talked to each other nonchalantly with innuendos got me cracked upward (footstep on my human foot please bunny senpai). The romance between the rascal and the senpai was not overwhelming, simply subtle and sweet. The motion picture served to solidify their potent romance.
Overall, a surprisingly fascinating and emotional anime. Series viii.five/10. Motion-picture show viii/ten.

I accept aught to say...I cried i practice not know how many times, i laughed many times. This movie literally played with my emotions and the plot with the musics were perfect, literally perfect! I truly didn't wait to run into something that good afterwards watching the anime.
A real masterpiece...

A height notch addition to the serial!
If y'all liked the series, y'all'll love this movie! Information technology's another hit for animated movies this year! CloverWorks does a nifty job animating everything wonderfully in 2-D. I simply wish more movies were animated in 2-D AND got theatrical releases. Fifty-fifty if a short release, this moving picture was worth seeing it on one of the two days it was in theaters in my town!
One thing to notation, there are several moments that tug at your heartstrings. Not surprising from an anime picture, just exist prepared to cry a few times. I was sure ready to burst into tears a few times, so you may need tissues!
As far equally blithe movies I've seen this year, this 1 is also a solid 10/10! I can't retrieve of any existent trouble I had with it other than that information technology was pretty disruptive at times (but that can be applied to the anime itself). This movie is up there with Toy Story 4, Steven Universe: The moving-picture show, and How to Train your Dragon 3 for all-time animated moving-picture show! Sadly we all know it won't get any nomination, (I mean, neither will the SU movie) simply information technology certainly deserves it. :)

What tin I say its merely Amazing
Alert: Spoilers
Spoilers.
What can I say the flick makes me distressing, happy and cleaved at the same time. Non to mention the scene where Mai saved sakuta from the accident. The great thing near the ending is seeing makinohara alive. The part where Sakuta remembers her is the all-time. Im not a professional reviewer so this is merely what im thinking. Best Movie 100/x

Must Watch!!! No spoilers
The reason I would rate this flick either a 9 or x is considering of the fashion they were able to implement the thought of time travel in a way where it's original and not an overly anticipated clitche. The movie caused the viewer to feel a multifariousness of feelings due to the protagonist choices and the events that take occurred. The movie is a spectacular representation and inspiration for other movies to use an idea and make information technology unique in a sense. I would highly recommend any anime watcher or honestly anyone to sentry this movie because of touching and complex the story is told through the protagonist point of view. Notwithstanding, I would recommend new anime watchers or others to lookout season 1 of Bunny Girl Senpai considering information technology would give them a piddling more insight on who the characters are and at that place relationship with the protagonist. Furthermore, y'all'll be able to truly empathize and take a meliorate experience after watching the first season so going onto the film.

I don't actually know how I experience almost this film, only this is some sort of an explanation
In short, a good moving-picture show that i wanted and expected to exist perfect, but it wasn't. I think it deserves no more than 7 only for the later parts of the movie, but the first 45 minutes are solid x for sure, then it slowly goes downhill. I withal dearest the series, but as much as i actually wanted to love this movie I'ts a scrap disappointing.
I waited for this movie for then long, I was actually looking forward to information technology, and when i started watching it, information technology was simply amazing. I really enjoyed the anime, and this was going to answer destine of my question. The first half was simply great, It has the humor, it'due south interesting and fun, so information technology becomes more and more intriguing, and at some point, you tin sympathize everything, and you can effigy out whats about to happen, and of course you lot are wrong it flips everything on its head. The concluding 30 minutes I just didn't like information technology every bit much as I wanted to. It simply tries to get as many routes as information technology can and it really gets frustrating, then the end happens and you realize that all the stakes, all the routes this flick took were for admittedly nothing.

That ane injure really desperately...in a expert manner?
I can only say this straight: This moving picture is f*king painful. But yet, it's even better than the showtime season of the anime. The movie uses its characters the same perfect mode as the show, but still gave something more to them. The plot is confusing as hell but yet followable. If you loved the show, you lot will love the pic even more. Trust me.

Late review
Honestly, I'm merely glad that I could watch the film. I know read the vol 9 before viewing, but the adaptation goes differently from my imagination. As a low-cal romance one-act, information technology's a bit stiff to accept on this heavy drama, and as usual I don't entirely get the explanations. But a lot of parts worked. Scenes still hit me. I like this. Hope the college story tin can come soon.

I enjoyed it so much more than I did the series
1 of the principal reasons I didn't find the series all that interesting is its lack of any actual disharmonize and no real stakes. That is not the case here, as what seemed like information technology was simply an additional episode of the series when it started, begins to actually descend more deeper into a very interesting and heartfelt storyline by the 2d half. The tensions were thick and the conflicts had real stakes and it fabricated the overall experience all the more enjoyable.

Preidctable, Intresting, Something New
To exist honest for me this movie was better than the show... The evidence was also very squeamish but it was kinda ho-hum and they kept adding unnecessary and uninteresting details. They kept over-using the same concept over and over again. Merely this moving picture was something new... Yeah the same characters, yep the same scratch and Shoko and Mai fighting over who'due south gonna be Suta's girlfriend just this film showed u.s. a new side of Shoko and a new side of Mai nosotros didn't know existed besides that it was very predictable, you could gauge what was gonna happen next half the time merely at least it wasn't as ho-hum equally the show and i didn't want to top watching in the middle..

Just scout this if y'all want to know how romance and love should be. Saying anything more is nil less than bad-mouthing the movie. Onegai lookout the original movie, not the dubbed version.

Thanking for giving us such an awesome anime.
I just wanted to say that this anime was worth watching because I was non willing to scout anime these days because my exams but once I thought it may be a poor story which would exist boring but when I watched the anime my mind was completely changed and I thought I was going to ignore this anime simply I think it was my luck that I watched. It was an amazing feeling when I watched it and I would say that the writer is truly an amazing person to think of such story. And the thing that I loved most in this anime is the song that'south......... "Fukashigi No Carte". After watching this anime I really felt that it emotionally touched my heart and I only wanted to say that I Love it ....sorry ... I Love it very very much.....🖤🖤
From the fans of - SEISHUN BUTA YAROU WA BUNNY GIRL SENPAI NO YUME WO MINAI..🖤🖤

Improve Than I Expected
Total DISCLOSURE: I watched this film without watching the anime first. It doesn't seems like a must, although I'd update this review once I volition lookout the anime.
This movie, it reminded me a petty bit the movie "The Shape of Voice". Although those 2 story are different, they both raised the question what I would do if I were in the Protagonist'southward shoes. And I really like information technology too, it makes me relate to the main characters and relish every moment.
It resonated in my mind, not a lot of movies do that, and I actually enjoy the ones that practise. I kept asked myself what would I do, but not but as the protagonist, also as other characters. The movie shows how out decision might actually touch on the future, and a cursed treasure of making those decisions , and although everybody would desire to change it (at to the lowest degree a piddling bit), nosotros can see the night side of the consequences, and when y'all share that ambiguous feeling with the character in the screen,
I enjoyed watching this flick, and really recommend for you to practice the same.

Too much tears and besides much tragic
At the beginning, it would be fair to give a context and to explain from which perspective I watched the movie.
First of all, it should be mentioned that I have not watched the series. Fans of the serial know characters and plot better, and then for them it probably evokes charm of the series.
Secondly, I really savor in slice of life anime and more often than not prefer anime movies over series. For my gustatory modality, serial in overall final for too much time (if you combine all episodes) and insist on emotions "at every corner" i.eastward. They attempt to provoke public'due south emotions several times during an episode. It only isn't my cup of tea. I similar a gradual build-upward during a 1-2 hrs long movie that somewhen contains 1-2 moments which give me goosebumps. And I like goosebumps provoked past a high-quality storyline, moment, frame, sound, non by tragedies, tears and like unpleasant things.
If I had to explain the movie in just a few words, that would be - as well intense.
Equally somebody that is not into the serial, it was difficult at outset to empathise what happens - what is the master idea, what different form of a same person means, relations betwixt characters, etc. While I like mind-bravado movies in general (not but anime) and although I somewhen understood everything mentioned above, it was simply to intense for me, in a sense that scenes, events and emotions were so fast paced. Like the whole movie is packed with too much of "action", too much of intense scenes, emotions and tragedies. That did not evoke emotions that I like in slice of life animes - a feeling that mixes anime story with my real life experience, positive and nostalgic thoughts, smile and melancholy... On the other manus, affluence of tears and tragic scenes activated my defense mechanisms so I reacted with foreign combination of ambivalence and (creepy) laugh, while I had been thinking throughout the movie that I expected something else.
One time again, I'm securely deplorable if I disturbed hardcore fans with such a indicate of view. :) If you liked the series and like this blazon of anime in overall, then I guess yous should give it a attempt.

Warning: Spoilers
An anime movie made me cry? gg for that. I watched the anime likewise beforehand since I've heard that this series is promising. Although yeah the stakes were high and very consequential, the ending is quite anticipated since, hey, it would suck for either one of them to get game concluded, merely i also wanted it that way too secretly hehe. But I'll still give it a x since very few animes have made me cry, idk its less than five or 6, this one included
